Artist's Comments

Such a stereotypical title but it's past midnight and my brain is on vacation. AnthroCon auction piece, done on 11x14 illustration board. Prisma markers, prisma colored pencil, watercolors and ink.

Edit: This is an anthromorphed Cooper's Hawk, hexapodal style, note the bird talons on the hind feet as well. Why the spear? Because I really don't think a lightly built flying creature wants to get too close to those horns and hooves.

Velociraptor.3feet tall-6feet long,with a 3in claw on both the mid toes.deinonychus 5 feet tall-10feet long,with a 5in claw on both the mid toes. and Raptor *kind* live about 66 years,hmm make's me a Adulte :D.

Great detail on the hawk. you have great skill with talons that I lack. ;-; I really need to practice avians. .. ~arches a brow at the person calling it a gryphon~ There is not one ounce of lion quality in that bird. o_o
